Meet the Team

Our team of CEA Executive Board Members & Site Stewards are here to advocate for you and act as a liaison between the site and district leadership. They attend monthly meetings to keep apprised of current district events, collaborate with our Superintendent and Governing Board members, attend educational rallies, special events and school board meetings, send staff satisfaction surveys, and plan retreats and social events for current CEA members.

CEA Committees (ongoing and looking for participants!)

We are looking for members who would like to be more involved with CEA this
year. One way to get more involved is to participate in any of our community outreach
projects. Invitations for these projects will be e-mailed to all members throughout the
year. Another way to get involved is to join one of our CEA committees. Here are some
of the committee opportunities available to members this year:

Communications Committee: Help contribute and run our CEA website, manage our
Facebook page, write or edit our newsletter, create flyers for our bulletin boards.
Social Committee: Plan and coordinate our quarterly socials, help organize the
retirement banquet, help with our outdoor adventure club by planning hikes and other
recreational activities.
School Board Contact Team: Meet regularly with our CSD School Board members to
build positive and collaborative relationships, communicate association’s goals and
concerns, and to better understand our board’s goals and decisions.
Membership Committee: Assist with Teacher Appreciation gifts, participate with New
Teacher Orientation, and help build membership and relationship between members
and the association.
Advocacy Committee: Help represent and advocate member concerns, join district
committees to represent the association’s interests, develop relationships with our HR
department, possibly run workshops to teach staff about member rights
Professional Development Team: Help develop and run professional development
opportunities for members, work with AEA’s Quality Teaching and Learning Team to
bring already established PD to our members.
